Newsflash

The latest Senior Patrol Leader for Troop 908 was sworn in last October.  It's rumored that he ran uncontested for the office, saying, "Vote early, vote often".

Today, Easter Sunday 2008, Matt showed me how to log into the website and write a piece of news.  Matt is really hoping that I will write things that happen to us and that everyone in the family will read about it.  We'll see.

Caitlin's College Daze

Y'know, for all that it's the 'latest news', not much has actually happened. Well, my Drama teacher lost her voice, so we actually spent class with her signing everything to one of the students, who then interpreted everything for us. All in all, that was probably one of my best classes EVER.

And we've moved on to poetry in English, though I think we'll be quickly moving on to Drama once we return from Spring break, seeing as not only did our teacher assign us to write a poem (of any kind) over the Break, but also to skim over the plays in our book and see which ones we want to do for our Reader's Theater. Me, I want to do Shakespeare's "Midsummer Night's Dream". I absolutely adore that play.

The latest from Caitlin's College Daze! (Pun intended!)

College is excellent! I love my classes. Well, okay, only two of them, really. Sociology of Gender with Professor Thompson and Improv with Professor Wisely. Or Sarah and Wendy, as they prefer to be called. English is a close second, and Math...Ugh. Math. I don't exactly hate it, per se, but it's really not my favorite subject. Luckily, though, we're finally heading into sections I do know and actually like! Imaginary numbers and such. I've got my first midterm coming up this Thursday, March 13th.For Sociology class. Frankly, I'm more than nervous. As much as I love the class, it's still not necessarily the easiest one out there, and there's a lot to remember! Not to mention I still need to finish my gender theory paper for the class, but that's not due until the 20th. (Thank you, Lord!)
